The course aims to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of functional styles in English and Ukrainian, to help learners master the methodology of contrastive stylistic analysis of parallel texts in English and Ukrainian, and to teach them to identify translation equivalents of stylistic and expressive means in English and Ukrainian at the phonological, morphological, lexico-semantic, and syntactic levels.
