The subject introduces students to the specifics of using interactive technologies and digital resources in teaching English from the perspective of their use of such technologies in future pedagogical activities as teachers.
Purpose: to form students’ knowledge and ideas about pedagogical practices of using interactive technologies and digital resources in the educational process, in particular – in the context of teaching English; to focus on the exceptional importance of the concept of cyber well-being and ways to ensure it, the issues and the most important features of the implementation of the distance learning process under conditions of limited technical resources.
The objectives are acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills regarding the use of interactive technologies and digital resources for the development of foreign language reading, listening, writing, speaking skills and the complex formation of such skills in unity; analysis of prospects for the use of online lectures and university courses taught in open access; presentation of the possibilities of online educational literature and dictionaries; formation of skills of critical analysis and assessment of the potential of linguistic social networks, YouTube channels and blogs with the aim of using them in the educational process; familiarization with online opportunities for finding and joining international internship programs, receiving grants, scholarships, and participating in academic student exchange programs.
